Day 26 - January 27, 2009

Geez, I'm old. Have you ever noticed that teenagers can contort themselves into any position they choose and manage to shoot their very own portrait? They can cram several subjects into the same photo - and they can do it while they are driving, or while they are chatting on MSN, or talking on the phone...or all three at once. Yes, they are dangerous little menaces. But they are good at it.

So tonight, I was walking down the hallway with my camera in hand. I was in search of something, ANYTHING, to take a picture of, when my hubby walked around the corner. He leaned in to give me a kiss, so I held the camera up and tried the self-portrait thing.

Okay - we were standing totally still. We were not driving down the interstate. No one was on the phone. We didn't even have kids tied to each leg. And would you just look at this pathetic-ness? Note: You can tell that holding my arm out at the angle I "think" is right and pushing the button must hurt...because I don't think I normally look like that when my husband kisses me. I hope. I don't understand - but you know what, I'm not going to practice either. I have other things I need to work on perfecting.
