Day 63 - March 15, 2009

Today I got to grab a friend and head 30 miles north for a small community play. What a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon! The Milesville community put on the play "Over the River and Through the Woods". It was both hysterical and had me in tears about 3 different times! Good LORD, I'm a sap.

I can't believe the talent of our people. Broadway ain't got nothin' on these folks!
The amount of memorization - jeez. I can't imagine. It's the one reason you'll never see me in a play. The sheer idea of trying to remember all those lines (let alone add the emotion and drama!) winds me up into a complete panic.

Two of the guys even cried! Real tears! Raw emotion. That's why I cried. You cry, I'll cry. Guaranteed.

Congrats to all of you! I loved it! Marlis, you rock!!! And thanks for the girl time, Diane! Thanks for talking me into going, Mom, and for letting the boys keep you. :) Oh, and did I mention that I got us stuck? In the mud? Yeah. Proud moment. The guys had to just lean on my bumper to get me out, but still....embarrassing.
