Home on the Range

We ran out to the ranch last weekend to put some cake out for the poor cold pregnant gals roaming the countryside. I couldn't believe the ice out there! They didn't seem bothered by any of it, though they sure were happy to see us!

901 is one of our best cattle - she's gentle, she's pretty, and she always does so well birthin' her babies (including a set of twins once!). I thought she was going to climb on the pickup with the boys.

We still have a month or two before babies start arriving, but boy, do those gals look pregnant!!
